Barsan Global Logistics - BGL has been offering integrated logistics services to the leading companies of Turkish economy since 1982. BGL has become a "global logistics service provider" in international standards by continuously re-engineering itself which involves determining the requirements of the logistics world and self-development. BGL has accepted the "change" as a non-stopping process which offers limitless opportunities for individual and corporate development.
With its rich logistics services portfolio, BGL provides "door-to-door integrated global logistics" services including international transportation of all modes (land, air, sea, rail and multi-modal), customs clearance, bonded and non-bonded warehousing, value-added stock management and distribution.
The Turkey organization of BGL is comprised of 5 regional offices and a Truck Operations & Maintenance Centre with the coordination of its head office in Sisli, Istanbul. The operational area of each regional office is defined geographically with bonded and non-bonded warehouses and operational offices at major customs port of entries, reporting to them.

All BGL offices in Turkey and abroad communicate online with each other through BARNET, BGL's own private Wide Area Network. All the transactions and data can be accessed through BARSIS - BGL Enterprise Information System, from any location throughout the world with specific authorization rules for each BGL customer, in a secure and reliable environment.

With its extensive logistics services portfolio, BGL has based its customer operations on an "Account Management" principle. Each customer, with an Account Manager assigned exclusively, has a single point of contact for all its requirements and operations throughout BGL, without making it necessary to get in touch with different operational units and offices throughout BGL.
